Students are encouraged to complete all of their training before purchasing a certificate. Students are responsible for ensuring NCOSHA ELearning training meets their training requirements before making a purchase.
The purpose of the E-learning System is to make knowledge and learning resources available on-line and to build an e-learning platform for use by all people. The following is the policy that will ensure that all students are empowered to use the e-learning system to its full potential and for the purposes for which it is intended.
The E-Learning policy following concept:
To make e-learning available for both work related & personal development. People may access work related e-learning programmes during work time and personal development courses outside of working hours. This is intended to provide greater fulfilment of training needs, which will help to motivate and retain most workers.
Our approach to accreditation is innovative enabling anyone to certify and verify their learning on any subject at certificate level for free.
Our Scalable Free Education Solution; In a world where knowledge & skills are expanding at an unprecedented fast rate, a new universal standardised approach to accreditation is needed to allow everyone share in the tremendous wave of learning opportunity before us.
NCOSHA’s system of Accreditation allows anyone, anywhere, at any time, to certify and verify what someone knows or does not know. No piece of certificate paper is necessary to gain confidence about what someone tells you they know or understand. With NCOSHA, you can instantly review the level of the course someone has done through QR scanning.
How the NCOSHA Accreditation System works; You can achieve and earn various levels of NCOSHA Certification, namely, Skill enhancement Certificate. What a NCOSHA graduate must always be aware of is how easily a prospective employer, recruiter, or work colleague can challenge NCOSHA graduate to demonstrate they hold and retain the level of learning that they profess
Unlike traditional education institutions which expect employers to respect the currency of accreditations which are decades old (when the knowledge is often long gone from former student heads); a NCOSHA accreditation is always current and can be challenged.
The NCOSHA Academy; The NCOSHA Academy is a separate entity within NCOSHA that sets the standard for all NCOSHA learning. Led by a team of traditionally qualified informative specialists and masters and doctorate level, they evaluate all courses published on the NCOSHA e-learning platform to make sure they adhere to an appropriate high standard.
Where it is possible to do so, we match the standard of learning at Certificate level with national and other international standards. By using our own accreditation methodology, we believe we can achieve the same, if not higher standards of accreditation across all subject offerings, offer speedier develop of new courses, and above all, provide free access to the study of subjects to anyone who wishes to learn.
National and International Standards; Where possible, NCOSHA matches its e-learning courses with other international standards or standards which are national of industry based. In no case, unless specifically stated, do we ever represent that NCOSHA Accreditation replaces or substitutes other standards or qualifications. NCOSHA learning achievements are separately recognised. The attraction of our learning to employers is compelling: free learning for employers, free certification and access to a very broad range of free courses, anytime, anywhere.
To a local government or employer, what is most important? Where someone learned their knowledge or skill, or whether the person truly knows what they say they know when they say it? Does it matter that the learner learned on e-learning (free) or classroom instead of indebting themselves paying for over-priced education or training?
Strengths and limitations of NCOSHA Accreditation; Where NCOSHA comes into its own is fact-based learning. While Wikipedia makes available the world’s information in a two dimensional format, NCOSHA takes the knowledge of the world and provides it in a format such that the knowledge and skills can be progressively learned as efficiently as possible.Without question, some learning is however experiential. It is hard to understand a chemistry reaction without seeing it first hand in a laboratory, something that NCOSHA is very unlikely to ever provide.Similarly, peer to peer learning one to one, face to face is hard to completely replace online. For advanced learning, personal tutoring is often essential.
Our goal at NCOSHA is to ensure that OSH courses at a basic, elementary and intermediate level of learning are available for every sector. Once comprehensively provided, we’ll then move progressively up the learning chain to higher and higher levels of learning.” Our aim is to make sure that learning across all sectors is provided such that everyone worldwide, not least those described as being at the bottom economically, can access the education and skills training they need to empower themselves and their communities to greater prosperity and equality.
Scalable Lifelong Learning for All; While NCOSHA currently provides OSH eLearning course, our aim is to provide 100’s of thousands of high-quality eLearning courses in the years ahead. We aim to create learning on OSH subject, from elementary, beginners, intermediate, and proficiency to advanced learning so that anyone can educate themselves on a subject at whatever level they chose.
No Borders Free Education & Skills Training; NCOSHA’s aim is to create an education and learning on OSH subject at every level. Our view is that the world of learning basically needs to be reset, as education in the past has been allowed to be politicised, leading to varying standards of education in virtually every country, and within countries. Our view is that access to knowledge and skill should be available to everyone regardless of nationality. Educations and Skills training should be a universal opportunity of empowerment..

A common question often asked by third parties is, “What attracts so many people to study online with NCOSHA?” With so many people, from so many different needs, backgrounds and cultures, individuals have varying reasons for studying with us online. However, there are many core learnings we have from surveys, questionnaires and direct learner feedback over the years. In order of importance, the following reasons are given
Competitiveness & Competence : The No. 1 reason people study with NCOSHA is to improve their workplace skills. These are learners often already in a job or seeking a promotion, who find the self-paced learning provided by NCOSHA, in OSH Certificateideal to stay competitive in their place of work.
Differentiation / Edge : In an increasingly competitive world, workers of the world, whether white collar or blue collar, know that to get ahead, they need to have something the next most competitive individual does not. Perhaps there are three people in the marketing department, but only one knows how to build a website after doing a course on NCOSHA. With OSH course categories to choose from, having knowledge of various areas of knowledge and competence regularly gives NCOSHA Graduates an edge in the workplace.
Personal Confidence : NCOSHA’s short self-paced courses allow learners to get to understand a subject in a block-by-block fashion that can be built upon steadily over time.
Community Impact : Studying on NCOSHA online platform is indeed a task that is most often done on an individual basis, but feedback we receive from learners also tells us that the incentive to learn and achieve with NCOSHA is also driven by commitments our learners make to their families and communities. By learning online, a member of a family or community gives a clear example to others on where their priorities lie. A more productive and capable learner through eLearning is not only more impactful in the workplace, but also more impactful within their families, their communities, and beyond that, more impactful within the countries that they live in.
NCOSHA is a for-profit social enterprise that believes in two things: That everyone has a right to an education and that education should be accessible and affordable.
